Slide Show of Portraits of All 26 Encounters I have Had so Far

Last Monday was the Camden50 Summer Party and it was fab not only to see many of the people I've met over the past six months again, but also for them to meet each other. And to put together for the first time, and to present, a slide show of portraits of all the people have had the pleasure and honour to have met so far.

The slide show was presented alongside a live oral histories presentation with four of my Encounters, who joined me on stage: Ruth Ingram, Hannah Morris, Ubah Egal and Gill Watson. Each shared their Camden-based Sticky Memories to the assembled party.

Tale Traces: Plumetting House Prices in the '70s / Camden Translators / Highgate Poets / Watching 9/11 on a small contractor's telly in a Portacabin in the Roundhouse carpark / Running across a roof to buy a brandy from the next door bar to serve a customer waiting at Mildred's on Inverness Street / Hearing news of election success for Youth Parliament / .. and more.

You can see the images as slides on my website, and as a movie below.

Thanks to everyone who came on Monday, and especially to Ruth, Ubah, Hannah and Gill who joined me on stage. And to everyone I have met through this project so far. Your memories are beginning to stick to my own..
