Last week RADA MA Text and Performance students, aka Theatre Lab, spent a few hours in the Local Studies and Archive Centre in Holborn Library. Archivist Tudor Allen showed them around and they got a look at the incredible collection of works that are housed there which included for them old Roundhouse and RADA theatre posters, old magazine articles on RADA as well as beautiful letters from poet Joanna Baillie who lived in Hampstead.
And here is a lovely quote from Baillie that seems fitting to our time in the archives:
“I wish I were with some of the wild people that run in the woods, and know nothing about accomplishments!”
