As part of ReStage, an exhibition that looked at the history of Radical Theatre in Camden by local artist Dmitri Galitzine, a series of performances took place at Swiss Cottage Library alongside the exhibition.
Cindy Oswin presented a performance/lecture based on her life in experimental theatre from the late sixties onwards - a rich and diverse artistic period in British theatre entitled On The Fringe. The lively, informative and funny hour-long piece explored some of the ideas and characters that made up this vibrant counter-culture that she was very much part of. Originally commissioned by The Britsh Library and Artsadmin.
Cindy Oswin is a writer, performer and theatre director who has also written for opera and film. She is currently writing a book about her theatre life and is planning a new solo show.
